METAL MUSIC MAGAZINE

Recently nominated for Rock Album of the Year for his new album entitled Sum of our Surroundings, and best known for his work with the Dead Kennedys, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nailbomb, rock legend D.H. Peligro has been nominated to receive a star on the 16th annual St. Louis Walk of Fame which will take place in May 2004.

"St. Louis is a great city and I am proud to be part of its history, says the rocker. "My contribution to music in general all stems from my upbringing in St. Louis."

Founded in 1988, the walk of fame provides a showcase for the cultural heritage of St. Louis and to advance the knowledge, awareness and appreciation of great St. Louisans and their accomplishments.

Each star features the name of an honoree with an accompanying plaque containing a brief biographical summary. The stars and plaques are permanently set into the sidewalks of the University City Loop, centrally located in the St. Louis area. "I am grateful for the consideration,"says Peligro. " It is a blessing and an honor."
